At RENMAD Storage Italia 2026, held in Bologna on 15 and 16 April 2026, Sardinia Agro Solar Energy received a major accolade at one of Italy’s leading events dedicated to energy storage systems and the development of the BESS market.
The award for Best BESS Project in Italy 2026 represents a particularly significant achievement for our Group, as it recognises a project developed with the aim of combining technological innovation, environmental sustainability and integration with the local area.
For Sardinia Bio Energy, this milestone also holds broader strategic value. The award-winning project forms part of an energy ecosystem designed to strengthen renewable energy generation and enhance the flexibility of the regional electricity system, in line with an industrial vision focused on both the energy transition and local development. In Futura Group’s communications, the agrivoltaic project associated with Sardinia Agro Solar Energy is also presented as part of a broader strategy based on energy integration and a local, short supply chain.
The recognition received at RENMAD confirms the value of the work carried out over recent years and reinforces our belief that innovation, when supported by technical expertise, industrial vision and strong local roots, can generate tangible benefits for both the energy system and local communities.
